If anyone is looking for a super scope for the Venus transit, here it is (better hurry though). It's a complete LX-200 8" SCT with the Ultra High Transmission Coatings. It has an electric micro focuser, diagonal, view finder scope, focal reducer/field flattener, DSLR adapter tube, tripod, hand controller, etc. I have the manual and a full set of Meade Super Plossl eyepieces, in their own case. I also have an external rail system for mounting additional counterweights and guiders, etc. I
I even have a matching solar filter.
It worked perfectly when I last used it. It has GPS, so it finds where it is, detects level and then slews to alignment stars. I used to also use it for planetary photography. It is in superb condition, with all the original boxes & packing. It's really a superb scope, but as most of you know I've been doing imaging, so the SCT sits unused.
