WHO PICKED THIS TARGET ....Oh I voted for it ..... My equipment does not like it at all .... last night I forgot to turn the cooled on, on the the camera so after 5 hours of imaging I got lots of images with lots of noise .... To night it took an hour to get good guiding, I don't know why, the only thing I can think of is the balance must be ever so slightly off it just would not correct for dec.

I was able to get some data, but it's not great this is a challenging one no doubt needs a real good soaking, FL, and dark skies!!!

I ran 26*6 minutes ISO800 with CLS filter on my SCT @ 1600mm of FL and I am quite dissapointed to say the least.  Image scale was OK, but the S/N is quite weak.

I voted for M51 !!!!!

I guess that's why we call it a "challenge".

Its a challenge, I got some good subs in......2.5 hours with about half of them good, ISO 800, guidestars SUCK!  But overall it was ok. Will put in some more time tonight at ISO 400.....
